About the project
The interactive educational show WIN YOUR WAY was produced
by THEATRE FOR CHANGES NGO – the leading interactive theatre company in Armenia
in collaboration with CHILD DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION in February 2012 in the
frames of the project DISABLED = DIFFERENTLY-ABLED, which was supported by the Arts
and Culture Program of the OPEN SOCIETY FOUNDATIONS. The project was aimed at
using child-friendly interactive theatre method, in order to support on-going
efforts to reduce prejudice against children with special needs.
The play was successfully presented in numerous regional communities of Armenia and Artsakh 2012 (also with the support of ARMENIAN YOUTH INITIATIVE and The BEARR Trust) reaching over 4300 schoolchildren and their teachers. The beneficiaries of the project were stimulated to modify their attitudes towards children with disabilities and gain better knowledge of children’s rights and their own responsibilities in this regard.

The presentations of the play were coordinated in
collaboration with Child Development Foundation, Children of Armenia Fund, Tufenkyan
Foundation, Bridge of Hope NGO, For You – Motherland NGO and Children’s Social
Care Centers in Gyumri and Vanadzor.
